Obstetrics & Gynaecology is a combination of two medical specialties focused on women’s reproductive health, covering pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum care which is obstetrics) as well gynecology which is the diagnosis and treatment of disorders of the reproductive system.
• Obstetrics: Is to provide care before, during, and after pregnancy, including antenatal care, delivery, and managing high-risk pregnancies.
• Gynecology: Assessment and treatment of disorders of the female reproductive system, including issues of pelvic floor, infertility, abnormal bleeding, and gynecological cancers.
